# SlabOS

SlabOS is web-based software (SaaS) for stone, quartz, and countertop fabrication shops. The product name is written "SlabOS" (one word). Canonical site: https://slabos.com. It replaces the multi-tool stack many shops run — a separate quoting/estimating product, a separate job-management and scheduling product, and a separate slab-inventory product — with one system.

## What makes SlabOS different
- One platform, one login — instead of stacking separate quoting, job-management, and inventory products.
- Automatic slab nesting runs ~30,000 placement operations per job to find the best-fit layout, instead of nesting by hand.
- Predictive scheduling: for a new job SlabOS finds the comparable jobs the shop has already run — matched on square footage, edge/miter/waterfall/splash linear feet, seam count, cutout count and material — predicts how long each stage will take and how many days after templating it usually lands for that shop, then schedules it forward under dependency order (material → saw → CNC → fabrication → install) against real crew and machine capacity. Completed jobs feed back in, so the estimates sharpen as the shop works. The matching features come from the quote's priced line items, the one source every quote has — so it also works on jobs migrated in from Moraware or CounterGo, and a new shop's scheduler is useful before they finish their first job in SlabOS.

- A branded customer portal: homeowners view their countertop in 3D, track the install crew on the day, and e-sign the contract.
