Receive tile and flooring stock and assign job quantities

1. Receive a product and lot

Choose New Tile (or the New button for your inventory type). Enter Product / color, brand, product type, SKU, dye lot or batch, stock unit and Quantity in stock. Tile and flooring support coverage per stock unit and tile or plank dimensions. Setting Materials includes thinset, clips, wedges and spacers.

Set cost per stock unit, supplier, location and rack, then Save. Receiving 50 boxes creates one stock lot with quantity 50.

2. Assign a quantity to a job

Open the item and choose Assign quantity to job. Select the job and optionally a phase or event. Enter a quantity and review Remaining in stock. Assigning 12 boxes from 50 leaves 38 available and creates a separate job batch for 12.

3. Create a batch tag

Select Open a new tag for this job quantity after assigning to open printing. The batch has its own barcode and retains the product code and lot. In the scanning rollout, Tile / flooring quantity tag shows the quantity and job. Review the template, label size and printer before printing.

4. Review or return a batch

Job inventory shows assigned quantities in their stock unit. Stock details link the source lot to its job batches. Open View job / return stock on an issued batch to return the entire batch. The quantity is restored to the original lot and allocation history is retained. This control returns the whole batch, not a partial quantity.

5. Receive or allocate from Crew

Where scanning is enabled, choose Receive and select the inventory type. A scanned rack supplies the initial destination. Scanning an existing quantity tag shows its quantity and the Assign quantity / view job action.

Check the result

• Available stock, job quantities and dye lots agree with the physical inventory.
• Reopening an item retains its unit and balance. Scanning a job batch tag identifies that specific batch.
