What does the setup fee actually cover?

Five things, all done by us in week one: data migration from your current software, pricelist rebuild on a 3-hour call, six hours of 1-on-1 founder training, every integration wired up (QuickBooks, email, maps, DocuSign), and your team profiled and quoting by Friday. Setup fee ends there — your flat monthly rate starts from week two.

Do you really migrate my legacy data?

Yes. 14,000+ quotes migrated to date. We pull jobs, accounts, activities, calendar events, POs, pricelists, and form templates row-by-row — verified with you before going live. Most migrations finish in under 90 minutes. A $12M/yr production shop moved their whole shop in one sitting.

My team's older. They won't use another app. How is this different?

Two reasons. One, SlabOS is built by people who've cut stone — Connor ran a fab shop for 8 years — so it maps to how floors actually work. Two, your setup buys six hours of 1-on-1 training with the founders, not a "watch these 40 videos" email. Most crews are running it day-to-day by end of week one.

My pricing is my crown jewel. Is my data safe?

Your pricing is yours. Period. Strict tenant isolation — no other shop ever sees your pricelist, customers, or jobs. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, every request scoped to your shop ID. Export everything to CSV anytime. No lock-in.

Are there per-user fees?

No. Your flat monthly is your shop, not your seats. Salespeople, schedulers, owners, admins — all included. Non-login employees (fabricators, installers, drivers) are also unlimited and free. We don't charge you to add your shop floor.

Is there a contract? Can I cancel?

No contracts. Month-to-month, cancel from Settings — no "call us to cancel" games. Onboarding is one-time (your rate is set on a call), and the monthly is fully cancelable. Annual billing available at 15% off if you want to lock in.

Can I try it before I commit?

One click, fully automated, 30–90 minutes depending on how much history you have. Price lists, accounts, jobs, quotes, drawings and inventory come over together. Your old software keeps running the whole time — the migration is a copy, not a cut-over, so nothing gets switched off and the shop never stops quoting. Onboarding is invoiced on signup; it’s our labor for the migration, the pricelist build, training and integrations.
Day 1–2
One-on-one training. Not a webinar.
We sit with your people, on your data, on the jobs they already know — not a recorded webinar and not a help-centre link. Estimators, schedulers, the office and the install crew each get the part they actually touch, so nobody sits through an hour about a screen they will never open. The layout and the flow will look familiar: it’s the same shape of work your team already does, with everything an owner needs to outrun the shop down the road.
