The whole point of slab digitization is the image — the actual veining, the actual stone. SlabBridge doesn't leave it behind. Slab images from your Slabsmith data directory are pushed up too, so the digitized photo lands right on the SlabOS slab record.
That means when a salesperson opens the slab in SlabOS, they're looking at the real slab — not a generic material swatch.

A one-time import goes stale the day after you run it. SlabBridge keeps polling for changes instead: new and updated slabs appear in SlabOS shortly after they change in Slabsmith — and deletions reconcile too, so removed slabs don't linger as ghosts in your inventory.
It closes the loop on the shop floor as well: cut slabs can automatically leave the SlabOS warehouse map when machine and production activity consumes them. The map reflects what's actually racked.
There's no "imported slab" second class in SlabOS. Once synced, a Slabsmith slab behaves like any SlabOS slab — quote against it, nest pieces on it, park it in a warehouse map bay, print its label, put it on a PO.
