The customer desk · Direct Mail CampaignsSlabOS / Workflow edition 2026

A customer record.
A real mail campaign.

The customer relationship does not end when the installation is finished. SlabOS brings direct-mail campaign preparation into the customer workflow so the office can work from its records and review the audience before a campaign goes out.

Choose the customer context

Start with the people in the record.

Use the customer workflow to identify the intended audience. A stored address is useful input, but the office still needs to confirm that it is the right destination for the campaign. A billing address, a builder’s office and a project site can represent different recipients.

  • Choose the audience deliberately.
  • Review the address associated with each recipient.
  • Keep the reason for the campaign clear.

Prepare the campaign

One message for this audience.

The walkthrough follows customer information into campaign preparation. Review the selected recipients, message and available campaign options before committing to a send. Keep the creative tied to the service and audience instead of making the campaign a generic export of every contact.

  • Check the recipient selection.
  • Review the message and campaign details.
  • Confirm the relevant sending options and charges in the workflow.

Review the handoff

Prepared is not delivered.

Campaign preparation, submission and delivery are different states. Use the campaign’s recorded status to understand where the work stands. Do not assume that opening a campaign or selecting customers means mail has already been sent.

  • Inspect the current campaign state.
  • Review errors or incomplete recipient details.
  • Use the recorded result to guide follow-up.

Keep the relationship connected

Mail belongs to customer work.

Direct mail sits alongside the shop’s broader follow-up process. Customer history and project context help the office choose a useful message and a relevant next action. For email replies and inbox conversations, use the connected-email workflow rather than treating a mail campaign as an email thread.

  • Keep the customer context available.
  • Use the correct channel for the follow-up.
  • Review the example with the team responsible for campaigns.

Direct Mail Campaigns questions

Does selecting customers immediately send physical mail?

No. Recipient selection and campaign preparation should be reviewed before the sending step.

Is a customer’s project address always the mailing address?

Not necessarily. Review the intended recipient and address for the campaign.
