Direct mail from the shop’s customer workflow

Connect campaign planning to the customer list already in SlabOS.

SlabOS’s CRM page includes direct mail campaigns from the existing customer list. That places physical outreach alongside lead management and follow-up rather than treating it as an unrelated spreadsheet exercise. A campaign needs a defined audience, an approved message and a way to associate responses with subsequent work.

The public description establishes the feature’s place in the sales workflow, but it is not yet a detailed mailing-operations manual. The useful next documentation is the exact path from selected recipients to reviewed artwork, fulfillment status and response attribution. Those steps should make address handling and delivery costs clear before a shop commits a campaign.

Inputs, outputs and an example to evaluate

Inputs: Contact details, inquiry source, estimated opportunity and follow-up context.

Outputs: A lead record, sales activities and a linked quote where created.

Show a synthetic website inquiry, its assigned owner and a follow-up connected to the resulting quote.

Scope to understand

This article does not establish a delivery SLA, postage inclusion or campaign ROI. Those details need the current service terms and an observed fulfillment example.

Public capability guides and product sources

Current product capabilities

SlabOS CRM uses quote context on pipeline cards, configurable sales stages and follow-up work. Its public page connects Gmail or Outlook, call history, aging quotes and direct-mail campaigns to the same customer relationships. Read the Pipeline & CRM page →

The website widget uses the SlabOS drawing engine and the shop’s price list on the fabricator’s own website. It produces a draft quote with geometry and customer context; the shop chooses whether to show a price, a range or a review-first experience. Read the Website Quoting page →
