Email from your own inbox
Keep the conversation attached to the quote and job it concerns.
SlabOS supports connected Gmail and Outlook workflows and linked email conversations. This lets the next person working on a quote see the relevant correspondence without reconstructing it from an individual inbox. The product page also describes semantic search and checking customer requests against the quote.
Mailbox connection and system-email delivery are distinct settings. The operating documentation says a sender must also enable Send system emails as me for system messages to use the connected mailbox. Connecting an account alone does not change every quote, contract or invoice email’s delivery path. Correct record linking is equally important when one customer has several jobs.
Inputs, outputs and an example to evaluate
Inputs: A connected mailbox, customer messages and the intended project relationship.
Outputs: Record-linked conversations, attachments and reply context.
Use synthetic correspondence to show a material-change request beside the quote it concerns and the resulting reviewed reply.
Scope to understand
Search and request-audit results assist review. They do not themselves revise the drawing, accept a change order or establish that a customer request was fulfilled.
