SlabOS Sales: Quote In Person, phone (SlabOS-Sales-Quote-In-Person-Phone-v1), 54.0 s, 1920x1080, 30 fps
Working title: QUOTE AT THE KITCHEN TABLE. Transcript of every on-screen message and the meaningful visuals.
Original synthesized score with UI sound cues; no voice-over.
00:00.0-00:04.0 Lit from the first frame. A stylised wireframe phone lies on a wireframe kitchen tabletop, lit by window light from the upper left. The quote editor is open on the Draw step; the only readable screen text is the header "ESTIMATE: KITCHEN · MAPLE ST". The L-shaped counter drawing is on the canvas with its last edge still open.
On screen: "SLABOS SALES" / "AT THEIR KITCHEN TABLE." (00:00.0-00:02.3), then "QUOTE IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE." (00:02.0-00:04.4).
00:04.0-00:06.6 The camera pushes into the phone. Bottom of the Draw step: the floating "Drawing tools" pill and the bar "Step 1" · "Back" · "Next". A fingertip traces the last edge of the return (00:04.5-00:05.5) and the L closes. The seam line glows, splitting the L into two pieces. The camera glides up to the header: "ESTIMATE: KITCHEN · MAPLE ST", "Undo", "Redo", "Revisions", "Preview", "Save", "Exit", and the icon-only step bar (pencil lit, sparkles, scissors, palette, calculator). The fingertip taps the palette tab at 00:06.5.
00:06.6-00:11.0 Materials & Slabs. On screen: the sticky "COLOUR OPTIONS" bar with "★ Option 1 LEAD", then "+ Add Colour Option", "Carryover Materials", "Color & Edge — 1 Area", "Auto colour images", "CROSS AREA NESTING", "Collapse all", "+ Add Area", the area card "Countertop Area #1" with "Rename" and a mini drawing, and the orange "COLOR & EDGE" band.
The page scrolls to the selects: "Product" → "Quartz" (00:08.0) with "Choose a material, or search by material, supplier or color." and "+ Custom product"; "Color" → "Arctic White" (00:09.0) with "+ Add custom color"; "Finish" → "Polished" (00:09.5).
On screen: "PICK THE STONE." (00:07.5-00:10.5).
00:11.0-00:12.0 Scroll to the slab area of "SLABS & LAYOUT": the controls "+ Slab" and "Auto Nest", with "Veined material — keep strips with parents" checked below.
00:12.0-00:13.5 The fingertip taps "Auto Nest". For one beat the button fills while it reads "Optimizing… NN%". The Arctic White slab photo dithers in, then the drawn pieces drop onto it: the sink run CT1.1 (00:12.5) and the return CT1.2 (00:13.0), each glowing as it lands, with the sink cut-out lit.
On screen: "AUTO NEST." (00:12.0-00:14.0).
00:13.5-00:19.0 The slab header appears: "Slab 1 · ✓ Clean fit", the size link "132" x 65 1/2" (60.0 sq ft)", "Mirror" and "Lock layout". At 00:17.0 the fingertip taps "Lock layout" and it reads "Locked".
On screen: "CLEAN FIT." (00:14.0-00:17.0).
00:18.2-00:19.1 The camera rises to the step bar, with the sticky "COLOUR OPTIONS ★ Option 1 LEAD" bar below it, and the fingertip taps the calculator tab at 00:19.0.
00:19.1-00:25.0 Summary & Pricing. The settings rows appear one after another: "COLOUR OPTIONS ★ Option 1 LEAD", "Carryover Materials", "SqFt Calculation: Exact", "Material Price Level: Retail", "Labor Pricing Level (Fab + Install): Same as material", "— marks materials up to this level's pricing.", "Price stone by: Price list setting", "Quartz: Price list setting", "Payment terms: Company default", "Price Settings", "Price List: MAIN", "Sales Tax: 8.25% (shop rate)", "Show Miter/Backsplash Material".
Then the area: "COUNTERTOP AREA #1", "By sq ft · price list", "× Multiply", "+ Pieces", "+". The three lines count up and land:
"33.09 sq ft Quartz - Arctic White (Polished) - 132" × 65 1/2" - 3cm @ $105.10/sq ft" "% Mark-Up" "$3,477.76" (00:22.0)

On screen: "TOTAL PRICE" and a giant "$7,669.05" that counts up and lands at 00:26.0.
00:29.0-00:32.5 The fingertip taps "Save" (00:29.0). The menu: "Save & Continue", "Save & generate 3D" (box icon, highlighted), "Save & Exit". Tap "Save & generate 3D" at 00:31.0. The note prompt: "Add a note to this save", "What did you change?", "Skip note & save", "Save with note". Tap "Skip note & save" at 00:32.25.
00:32.5-00:38.0 The camera dives through the screen into the full-screen 3D view: round X, "3D VIEW", "KITCHEN · MAPLE ST · Q-1042". "Building the 3D…" while the saved L outline rises into a 3cm slab with the sink cut through it (00:32.75-00:33.5). The model settles, auto-rotating, with badges "CT1.1" and "CT1.2", the camera chips "¾" (lit), "FRONT", "TOP", "SIDE", the pause icon, and the footer "Drag to spin · pinch to zoom".
On screen: "FROM THE SAVED QUOTE DRAWING" / "SEE IT IN 3D." (00:33.5-00:36.0).
At 00:35.5 the fingertip taps "TOP": the camera flies overhead and auto-rotate pauses (the pause icon turns into the circular arrow). From 00:36.5 two fingertips pinch toward the sink cut-out.
00:38.0-00:40.5 The fingertip taps the round X; the view pulls back out to the editor header and the fingertip taps "Exit" (00:38.5). 00:40.5-00:41.3 Scroll to "SEND": the "QUOTE" row with its template picker, "SEND TO CUSTOMER", "PREVIEW", "DOWNLOAD", "LINK". The fingertip taps "LINK" at 00:41.0.
00:41.0-00:43.3 A bottom sheet slides up: "SEND THE QUOTE LINK", "Text to Alex", "Share… (AirDrop, Mail)", "Open in browser", "Copy link". The fingertip taps "Share… (AirDrop, Mail)" at 00:43.25.
00:43.3-00:46.0 The system share sheet slides up: a message card "Hey Alex, here's your quote:" with a link line, then "AirDrop" with one round contact "A" labelled "Alex's iPhone". The fingertip taps it at 00:44.75. A light arc travels from the rep's phone to a second phone, Alex's iPhone, which rises in at the left.
On screen: "THE CUSTOMER QUOTE LINK" / "HAND IT OVER." (00:43.5-00:45.1).
00:46.0-00:48.5 Alex's iPhone, up close: "Private Project Information", "Your name", "I confirm — continue to my project" (tapped at 00:46.5). The quote page opens: "Quote", "Q-1042", "KITCHEN · MAPLE ST", the quote PDF page, "Quote looks good?", "Approve & continue", "Need a revision?".
On screen: "THE CUSTOMER QUOTE LINK" / "THE QUOTE. IN THEIR HANDS." (00:46.0-00:48.8).
00:48.5-00:51.0 The phone sinks away into black and rays. On screen: "NEST. PRICE." / "SEE IT IN 3D." / "SHARE THE QUOTE."
00:51.0-00:54.0 End card, held to the last frame: the extruded SlabOS mark assembles. On screen: "SLABOS SALES" (00:52.0), "NATIVE APP COMING SOON" and "slabos.com/sales-app" (00:52.5).
Draw & choose
Start with the room in front of you.
Work through the countertop drawing and its details, then choose the material, color and finish for the area. The mobile editor keeps drawing and material choices in the same quote, so the next step has the geometry and selection it needs.
- Review dimensions, seams and cutouts.
- Select the stone and finish for the area.
- Keep color options attached to the quote.
Nest & price
Make the material plan part of the conversation.
Open Slabs & Layout and run Auto Nest for the drawn pieces. Review the result and its slab dimensions before continuing to Summary & Pricing. Check the material and labor price levels, the line items and the total before you present the amount to the customer.
- Review the pieces on the selected slab.
- Check the layout rather than relying on a total alone.
- Inspect material, fabrication and installation pricing.
Save & share
Leave them with their quote.
Save the work and use the saved-drawing 3D view to explain the countertop from another angle. The quote’s Link action opens sharing options for the customer quote link. On supported devices, the share sheet can offer AirDrop or Mail. What you hand over is the quote link, with the customer’s available review and approval steps.
- Save before opening the 3D presentation.
- Use Link → Share… for device sharing options.
- The rep’s 3D view does not itself publish customer 3D.
Questions about In-Person Countertop Quoting
Can I nest the pieces while quoting on my phone?
The mobile quoting workflow includes Materials & Slabs and Auto Nest. Review the selected stock, slab dimensions and resulting layout as part of the quote.
What is sent through AirDrop?
The customer quote link is shared through the device’s share sheet. It is not a 3D model file.
Does Save & generate 3D show 3D to the customer automatically?
It opens a saved-drawing presentation for the salesperson. Customer-facing 3D depends on the project’s publishing workflow.
Can I use a tablet instead?
Yes. The tablet quoting workflow provides more room for the layout and pricing review. See the separate tablet walkthrough for that presentation.
