Already in Horus.
Bring it into SlabOS.
Your shop’s Horus workflow holds useful stone and project information. The SlabOS Horus connection brings supported exports into the shop’s SlabOS workflow, with scanner imagery and imported quote records where that source data is available.
Connect Horus DXF exports through its Windows service and follow scanner imagery and imported records into SlabOS.

Start with what your setup provides.
Horus scanner imagery, inventory and quote information can come from different parts of a shop’s setup. The connection starts by identifying the supported exports and images that are actually available. A scanner photo and a quote export are different inputs; neither should be assumed to contain every field in the other.
- Confirm the export format and where files arrive.
- Review a sample record and its slab image together.
- Treat unavailable fields as missing information, not invented values.
Connect the shop PC
A service for the handoff.
The supplied walkthrough shows a dedicated Windows service on the shop PC reading Horus exports and sending data outward to SlabOS. Source reading is separate from changing data in Horus. Setup and source availability are reviewed with the shop before relying on unattended imports.
- The illustrated path uses read-only source access and outbound HTTPS.
- The PC and source exports must be available for that handoff.
- Import timing depends on when supported source data is produced.
Review what landed
Give the image a usable record.
Review imported slab records and their scanner imagery inside SlabOS. The goal is usable material context for the people selecting stone, preparing a quote and planning a layout. Confirm identity, image association and available dimensions before treating an imported row as ready for the next step.
- Check the actual slab, not a generic color swatch.
- Resolve unmatched or incomplete records during setup.
- Follow the connected inventory into quoting and warehouse work.
Continue the quote
The deal keeps moving.
The walkthrough also shows an imported Horus quote moving into a follow-up stage and a lead card tracking the deal. That is the business handoff: the imported record becomes part of the shop’s quote and customer workflow. A supported quote import does not imply that every Horus layout or machine-programming function transfers.
- Use the imported record to continue follow-up.
- Review the drawing and pricing needed for the job.
- Book a setup review with a representative export from your own configuration.
Horus Integration questions
Does this mean every Horus installation syncs the same way?
No. Available exports, images and source behavior vary. Confirm the supported handoff for the shop’s setup before depending on it.
Does the illustrated connection write changes back to Horus?
The walkthrough describes read-only access to Horus exports. It is not a promise of general Horus writeback.
Is this a Horus accounting integration?
No. This page concerns the stone-industry Horus / D2 Technology workflow.
