Blueprint takeoff from countertop plan sets

SlabOS's public blueprint page describes finding countertops in plans, reading elevation context and turning detected work into editable geometry. This connects the plan set to the estimating workflow rather than leaving quantities in a separate worksheet. The supporting takeoff report explains the reviewed workflow and the evidence available for evaluation.

Inputs this workflow uses

PDF floor plans and elevations, selected countertop areas and material context; the current beta page describes self-calibrating dimensions.

Outputs to evaluate

Editable countertop geometry, elevation context and a marked-up plan saved with the quote, ready for reviewed pricing, nesting and 3D.

A representative demonstration

Compare a sample plan with the detected counters, show required corrections and retain the final reviewed drawing.

Bring a representative job to a SlabOS demo and see how this capability fits your shop’s work.

Scope and availability

Blueprint takeoff remains beta. The current public page identifies scanned sheets and edge typing as weaker areas, and says backsplash placement still needs a separate step. It supports bidding from plans, not replacement of field templating.
