SlabOS describes a built-in assistant that answers questions from the shop’s own records, including jobs, quotes, invoices, accounts and leads. The practical benefit is a direct route from an owner’s question to a scoped business answer without first constructing a spreadsheet.
A useful answer needs the same definitions as a report. Quoted, won, invoiced and collected amounts measure different stages. Date range, location, migrated-record treatment and missing costs can materially change a result. The assistant’s output should therefore be checked against a reproducible source-record query before it supports an important operational conclusion.
Inputs: Quote, job, sales and billing records within a stated reporting period.
Outputs: Work queues, sales views and company metrics with drill-down context.
Show one reported total and the sample records that reconcile to it, including the time period.
The product page limits the assistant to the shop’s SlabOS data and says it has no internet access. Generated answers are not a substitute for reconciled books.
