Physical slab inventory and planned slab layouts

SlabOS distinguishes physical inventory from the layout proposed for a quote. Receiving, allocation, consumption and remnants describe the material's history; nesting describes how pieces fit on selected slabs. The public nesting, labels and warehouse pages explain these connected but distinct parts of material management.

Inputs this workflow uses

Individual slabs, dimensions, material identity, location and countertop pieces.

Outputs to evaluate

Inventory records, planned layouts, stock holds and applicable remnant records.

A representative demonstration

Follow a sample slab from receipt into a quoted layout and show its subsequent consumption and remnant history.

Scope and availability

A layout is not proof that a slab was cut. Yield results need actual constraints, a stated denominator and retained output.
