Remnants matched to cutouts

The landing-page feature list includes automatically matching remnants to cutouts. A useful match should lead the operator to a specific piece of stock and a layout that can be inspected, rather than to a material name alone.
Existing inventory documentation explains individual identifiers, dimensions, stock filters and selecting inventory for a quote. It also separates layout selection from the saved hold or allocation. A dedicated matching article needs to document the exact candidate rules and exclusions so the operator can understand why a remnant appeared and what remains to approve.
Inputs, outputs and an example to evaluate
Inputs: Individual slabs, dimensions, material identity, location and countertop pieces.
Outputs: Inventory records, planned layouts, stock holds and applicable remnant records.
Follow a sample slab from receipt into a quoted layout and show its subsequent consumption and remnant history.
