Duration estimates from comparable jobs
See the history behind a suggested production interval.
SlabOS includes duration suggestions based on similar past work and drawing-related inputs. The inspected implementation compares job features such as area, edges, miters, waterfalls, cutouts and material, and presents a suggested duration with supporting context. A scheduler can use that suggestion while retaining responsibility for the actual booking.
Historical scheduled duration and recorded actual duration are different evidence. The inspected comparison helper uses scheduled intervals from similar jobs; a separate drawing-based estimate supplies a fallback. The activity display can show actual logged time when it exists. These distinctions belong in the documentation so a suggestion is not mistaken for measured labor.
Inputs, outputs and an example to evaluate
Inputs: Job activities, site information, dates, durations and available assignees.
Outputs: A calendar of assigned work and corresponding crew-facing visits.
Show a sample template visit and installation in the office calendar and the assigned crew's view.
Scope to understand
Confidence labels describe the implemented suggestion; they are not independently measured prediction accuracy.
