3D and AR in the customer’s kitchen

From the drawn countertop to automatic assembly, fitted kitchen furnishings and a customer-ready 3D and AR presentation.

SlabOS presents 3D and AR as extensions of the quoted drawing. The product page describes real slab imagery, modeled edge and waterfall details, and a customer link for viewing the design in a room. The value is a more concrete discussion of material and form before cutting begins.

Keep three layers aligned: the quote dimensions, the displayed material image and the customer’s saved revision. A convincing model should still identify whether it shows the actual selected slab or a representative texture. Review seam placement and edge work as part of the customer conversation rather than assuming appearance alone conveys the scope.

Inputs, outputs and an example to evaluate

Inputs: The countertop drawing and assembly, recorded fixture openings, appliance gaps and selected cabinet style and finish.

Outputs: An editable 3D presentation with fitted cabinetry, supported fixtures and appliances, ready for refinement and customer presentation.

Start with an island containing a sink opening and a run with an appliance gap. Show the proposed furnishings, apply them, customize the finish and publish the intended customer presentation.

Scope to understand

AR is a visualization aid. Supported device/browser behavior and placement accuracy should be demonstrated separately from field templating.

SlabOS can furnish the selected countertop with fitted cabinets, sinks and cooktops, place a slide-in range in a supported appliance opening and optionally add a hood.
