Signed change orders from the portal
Keep revised geometry, changed price and customer approval together.
SlabOS distinguishes Template Correction, Change Order and Separate add-on. A template correction handles measured changes; a change order revises the original quote’s scope; a separate add-on creates another quote attached to the job. Choosing the correct path prevents the same work from being charged twice.
The change comparison connects the prior scope with the revised drawing and price. Review additions, removals, quantity differences and zero-price changes. Previous total plus total change should reconcile to the revised amount, including applicable tax and adjustments. Saving the edit, publishing a portal revision, sending it and obtaining approval are separate steps.
Inputs, outputs and an example to evaluate
Inputs: The original quote, corrected measurements or requested scope changes.
Outputs: A revised drawing and price comparison, with an approval record where that workflow is used.
Compare a sample quote before and after a dimension change and an added piece; reconcile the total difference.
Scope to understand
Moving old pieces aside for a DXF comparison does not remove them from the quote. Remove superseded geometry before accepting final quantities.

Current product capabilities
The current portal page connects branded project access, actual-slab 3D and AR, page-by-page drawing approval, retained signed revisions, project status and payments. A customer response remains associated with its intended document and revision. Read the Customer Portal page →
SlabOS CAD connects command-driven drafting and countertop-specific geometry to the quote, nest and 3D view. The current page describes seven seam modes, a geometry Check before Print or DXF export, and beta laser Template Mode that captures measured points through a USB connection.
